Patchwork
A two-player board game where players compete to build the most aesthetic and high-scoring patchwork quilt.
Rules:
- Players take turns either buying and placing a patch on their quilt board or advancing their time token to gain buttons.
- Patches cost both buttons and time to place.
- The game ends when both players reach the center of the time board.
- Players score points for buttons left and subtract points for empty spaces on their quilt board.
Tips:
- Plan ahead to maximize button income and minimize empty spaces.
- Don't ignore the special patches that give you an immediate button bonus.
- Sometimes it's worth skipping expensive patches to gain more buttons or a better position on the time track.
